John O’Connell is the new PD for Kiss Country 99.9 (WKIS-FM) in Miami. O'Connell will continue to program Entercom's Alternative station in Miami (104.3 The Shark). O'Connell said he is beyond excited to come back to the Country format and join the team at one of the most legendary Country radio stations in America.

The Mentoring & Inspiring Women in Radio Group has announced the four mentees selected to participate in the 2018 MIW Group Mildred Carter Mentoring Program. The program matches up-and-coming women in the radio industry with female professionals recognized as leaders in all aspects of radio.

Beasley Media Group Chief Operating Officer Brian Beasley was recently honored at The Meggan Morency 8th Annual Wild West Night. The event took place on Saturday, March 17 at Ron Bergeron's Green Glades Ranch in Weston, Florida. Beasley was recognized for his philanthropic work.

Bob Stroud has signed a new, long-term deal with Chicago’s Heritage Classic Rock outlet WDRV (97.1 FM, The Drive) extending his run as weekday host, 9 a.m.-2 p.m. He will also continue hosting his long-running Rock & Roll Roots specialty program Sunday mornings, 7-10 a.m.

iHeart's Tampa cluster has added several personalities to its programming lineup for its Throwback Hip-Hop and R&B stations, broadcasting on 94.5, 99.1, and 105.9. Big Boy’s Neighborhood has been named for mornings, “Queen B” will host middays, DJ Chase will broadcast during the afternoons, and DJ Sandman will host nights.

Craig Fahle, formerly of WDET-FM 101.9, has a new morning show, The Craig Fahle Show, hosted on New Radio Media. The daily talk/entertainment show will focus on all things happening in and around metro Detroit and the state of Michigan, looking in depth at current events.

There’s a new midday personality at Country 98.9 (KNUC/Seattle), Seth Hughes. Hughes most recently spent time in the afternoon and morning drive slots at the former 94.1 KMPS.

Greensboro, NC, station 93.1 The Wolf (WPAW-FM) has promoted Clay Walker to Program Director. Walker was previously the Digital Integration Director and Assistant Program Director for the station.

Envision Networks has added another Affiliate Relations Manager, Max Lowther. Lowther graduated from Bowling Green State University where he studied Communications and Marketing and worked extensively with the campus radio station.
