Entercom’s MIX 98.1, WTVR-FM/Richmond, VA, has announced the addition of Rebecca Wilde to Wicker In The Morning. She joins current morning host Jeff Wicker. Wilde previously worked in the market at 103.7 Hot AC and at 106.5 The Buzz. She has also worked in Seattle and Cleveland.
Markley And Van Camp Add Seattle Market
The Markley and van Camp Show, launched into national syndication two months ago, has now added Talk Radio 570 KVI/Seattle to its list of affiliates. The show will debut live from 9 a.m. to 12 noon Pacific Time on Monday, June 4.
Phil Zachary Takes DC
Entercom has replaced Steve Swenson in Washington DC. Phil Zachary will now run that market for Entercom. Zachary (pictured here) will continue as Market Manager in Hartford as the company looks to hire a new market manager to run that cluster.
Brooks Retiring After Career Highlighted By Public Service
After nearly 30 years as president and CEO of the Arizona Broadcasters Association, Art Brooks announced Friday that he is stepping down at the end of the year. Brooks led the way helping Arizona broadcasters make the 2008 award-winning documentary Crystal Darkness, one of several initiatives he was involved in to battle drug abuse.
Saga Moves Forgy To HQ
Chris Forgy has been promoted to Senior VP of Operations for Saga. It's a newly created position for Forgy who had been managing Saga's cluster in Columbus. CEO Ed Christian said, "Chris is a world-class broadcaster whose contributions to Saga will be very important and strategic as he joins us in the corporate office."
iHeart New Orleans Get Their Man In Bordreaux
Mark Boudreaux has been named Market President, iHeartMedia New Orleans, effective June 11. Boudreaux joins the company from South Central AV, where he most recently served as the Business Development Manager.
Lada Added To Saga Board
One day after Saga announced COO Warren Lada would be retiring at the end of June, the company announced Lada would be joining its Board of Directors. And to do that Saga had to increase the size of its board to seven.
Hometown Broadcasting Names New GM
Jeff Adams has been named GM for Hometown Broadcasting's Portsmouth, Ohio, stations WNXT-FM, WNXT-AM, and WZZZ-FM. Adams spent the past seven years with West Virginia Radio as operations manager of their seven-station cluster in Charleston, and most recently, station manager of their threestations in Martinsburg.

Another Job Lost Over Bad Behavior
Jack Lessenberry was Michigan Radio’s senior political analyst. That is until he resigned this week after being accused of sexual harassment. According to the Michigan Radio website the resignation comes as more and more women accuse Lessenberry of sexual harassment and other questionable behavior.
