The Dana Show Weekend can now be heard on KLIF-AM in Dallas-Forth Worth. According to Steve Graham, VP for Affiliate Marketing at Radio America, that's an exciting development for the station.

Forbes magazine featured an interview with Angela Yee of Urban Contemporary morning show The Breakfast Club, who shared her strategy for making her mark in media, while elevating and educating the next generation of young women.

Jeanne Smith has been named iHeartMedia’s Market President for the Quad Cities, (Davenport and Bettendorf in Iowa, and Rock Island, Moline, and East Moline in Illinois), which includes seven stations comprised of music, talk, and news formats.

Industry veteran Dave Cooper has been named General Sales Manager of Country station WQDR 94.7 FM in Raleigh. Cooper was most recently General Sales Manager for Entercom/CBS radio stations KYKY and KEZK in St. Louis.

Scott Ellis has been named Program Director and midday host for NOW 96.3 (KNOU-FM) in St. Louis, effective July 30. In addition, NOW 96.3 talent HaZe has signed a contract extension.

Maxwell Schaeffer has been named Director of Promotions and Marketing for iHeartMedia Des Moines, effective August 10. Schaeffer will also make on-air appearances across all Des Moines stations.

WSJS Sports (Greensboro/Winston-Salem/High Point) welcomes The Drive with Josh Graham to afternoons beginning July 23. The show will be heard across NC’s Triad on heritage signals.

Karl Shannon is the morning show host on WLXO Hank 96.1. He has been a fixture in Lexington radio since 1988. The five-time nominee for CMA Air Personality of the Year landed in Lexington in 1988 to program WVLK-FM "K-93."

In Sacramento, Stacey Kauffman gets the promotion from D.O.S. to Market Manager. And Michael Spacciapolli also moves up from his D.O.S. position, to run the Pittsburgh market. COO Weezie Kramer commented, “Nothing makes me happier than promoting from within. I am thrilled that we offer career paths and can elevate deserving people to new leadership roles.”

Jack Taddeo is leaving the Waterloo-Cedar Falls-Cedar Rapids market this month. Taddeo has been running NRG's four stations in that market since March of 2015. He's also worked in Chicago, Philadelphia, Palm Beach, and several major markets in California. Taddeo says he's accepted a job with another company and it will be announced next month.
