Denise Plante has been named the new midday host for 106.7 The Bull, “Colorado’s New Country.” Plante will broadcast weekdays, Monday through Friday from 10 a.m to 3 p.m. Plante joins iHeartMedia Denver from KOSI-FM/Denver.

This year’s Buffalo Broadcasting Hall of Fame induction ceremony will be radio heavy. The Class of 2018 includes longtime DJ and current Star 102.5 (WTSS-FM) host Roger Christian, Buffalo native Tom Langmyer (pictured) who managed some of the most successful stations in the country, and 97 Rock PD John Hager.

The Arizona Broadcasters Association has announced its 2018 inductees for the Arizona Broadcasters Hall of Fame. The radio inductees, chosen based on their outstanding contributions to broadcast journalism, are JD Freeman, and The John Jay and Rich show (pictured).

Rachel “Rach” Viggiano will host middays for Hits station Q102 Philly. Viggiano will be on air Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. She joins the Philadelphia market from WPUR-FM in Atlantic City.

NRG Media in Omaha has promoted Mike Stibbs to APD for 1620 the Zone KOZN, News Talk 1290 KOIL and 1180 Zone 2 the Deuce KZOT. He currently produces 1620 the Zone’s longtime running afternoon drive show Unsportsmanlike Conduct which he'll continue to do.

Hubbard Radio Seattle Market Manager Marc Kaye is stepping down after 45 years in broadcasting. Kaye said he promised himself when he hit the 45 year mark, he was going to get a bit selfish and consider that milestone was enough to prove he had given it his all.

That's because iHeartMedia in Chicago has hired Steve Vicenteno as Vice President of Automotive specifically to oversee that category for iHeart's Chicago region.

iHeartMedia has promoted four of its Region Presidents to Division Presidents of the iHeartMedia Markets Group. Linda Byrd, Scott Hopeck, Brian Olson, and Jeff Tyler will expand their current Region President roles to include Division President responsibilities -- joining current Division Presidents Kevin LeGrett and Tom McConnell. 

Boomer Esiason has decided not to return as color analyst for Westwood One’s NFL broadcasts after 18 years in the Monday Night Football booth. “It has been an honor to be a member of the Westwood One NFL broadcast team for the last 18 years,” said Esiason.
