Hubbard Radio WIRK (Country) has tapped Country Radio vet Tim Leary to wake-up West Palm Beach.   Leary will pair with WIRK’s   Chelsea Taylor. Tim moves to West Palm from Hubbard Radio Seattle’s KNUC “98-9 The Bull”, and prior to that spent seven years as morning host at WUBB in Savannah.

Brian Thomas is joining Townsquare as Operations Manager in Grand Rapids and to oversee the company’s 17 Classic Hits stations. Thomas has been PD at WCBS-FM New York, WLS-FM Chicago, KFRC San Francisco, B97 New Orleans, and most recently Cumulus/Atlanta.

Mike “Swift” Powell is the new Program Director for 93.9 WKYS-FM, replacing Joshua “J1” Raiford. Powell, who's from New Orleans, has 15 years programming experience in multiple formats including Urban, Rhythmic CHR, Top 40, Alternative Rock, and Urban AC.

And they're four native Chicagoans -- two of whom are present-day voices, while the other two served at the station for 60 years and 52 years respectively.

Bob Thornton will fill the newly created position of SVP of Programming and Technology at Stephens Media Group. He has been with the company for over 20 years.

Houston’s KTRH AM 740 has signed a new four-year agreement with on-air host Michael Berry. He will continue with The Michael Berry Show through 2023.

77 WABC/NYC radio host Joan Hamburg presented her annual Pre-Tony Luncheon, Thursday, at Arno Ristorante in New York City. Highlights of the show will air on 77 WABC in two parts.

Fox News Radio is moving The Guy Benson Show to afternoon drive and adding another hour to the show. Starting Monday, Benson will air 3-6PM/ET, moving from the 6-8PM/ET slot. Benson replaces Tom Shillue.

Cox Media Group Houston has promoted Kelly Ryan to full-time co-host for the Dean & Rog Morning Show. Ryan was most recently the traffic reporter for CMG Houston.

Stickles joins 88.7FM WMVY/Martha's Vineyard, MA, in a newly created position, appearing on the station’s airwaves delivering morning newscasts, and working behind the scenes.
