BMI has promoted David Levin, VP of Digital Licensing, to Senior Vice President, Licensing. Levin will oversee teams in New York and Nashville, report directly to Mike Steinberg, EVP, Creative and Licensing, and is based in New York.

Longtime AAA WNCS PD Zeb Norris is the new PD at Radio Vermont Group's Classic Hits 101 the One. Prior to a 13-year run at WNCS The Point in northern Vermont, he worked in a variety of cities in the lower forty-eight.

Cox station KISS 104.1 (WALR-FM), has added Sytonnia “Toni” Moore to The Morning Groove, joining Art Terrell and Corey “Zooman” Miller.
Wheeler Will Not Return
The NBA's Portland Trail Blazers announced that Brian Wheeler, the long time radio play by play voice of the Trail Blazers will not return next season. No reason was given, however, Wheeler has been dealing with health issues since 2013. Here's the team's statement.
Bob Liggett Dies At Age 76
Liggett owned the Liggett Broadcast Group for over 30 years. He also owned and operated The Grosse Pointe News, Big Boy Restaurants, Speed Connect before recently selling all of companies. He passed away of complications from pancreatic cancer.
