Entercom Denver has named Toshamakia to the position of Music Director and afternoon drive host on the Mile High City's heritage Hip-Hop station KQKS KS1075. She starts Monday, July 30.

The new program, launching this fall, will be a weekday talk show with a fresh take on culture, the arts, the news of the day, and life in New York and the surrounding region. Stewart began her career as a producer/reporter for MTV News’ breakthrough presidential campaign coverage Choose or Lose, for which she won a Peabody Award.

Eagle 98.1 WDGL/Baton Rouge (Guaranty Media) has shuffled its lineup as Dan Day At Night exits. Classic Rock veteran Mike Benson returns to the air in the midday slot.

According to The New York Post WFAN's Joe Benigno is taking a leave of absence after he was named in a sexual harassment lawsuit filed by a former employee. The paper also says WFAN has launched an internal investigation into the matter.

Entercom has appointed Tom Cook to the role of Director of Music Programming in Baltimore, effective July 30. Cook will oversee programming on Today’s 101.9 (WLIF-FM) and Mix 106.5 (WWMX-FM).

Mark DiCiero is the new weekend midday host for AC station Sunny 106.5 (KSNE-FM/Las Vegas). DiCiero will broadcast Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. He joins iHeartMedia Las Vegas from KMXB-FM.

Alex Flores has been named Senior Vice President, Creative for BMI. Flores will be based out of BMI’s Los Angeles office and will report to Mike Steinberg, Executive Vice President, Creative & Licensing, beginning August 6.

NRG Media in Wausau/Stevens Point, WI has hired Rhonda Guenther as the new General Sales Manager for its four-station cluster in that market. Guenther was most recently with Midwest Family Broadcasting in the Eau Claire market.

Beasley Media Group and NBC Sports Boston will team up to launch the simulcast of WBZ-FM/ 98.5 The Sports Hub’s Zolak and Bertrand midday show beginning Monday, July 23.

Entravision has appointed Liliana Aristizabal as Senior Vice President of Eastern Region Sales. Aristizabal will be based in New York. Prior to joining Entravision, Aristizabal was Vice President, General Sales Manager at LBI Media.
