There’s a new show on PodcastOne called Beyond the Darkness – and fans of the paranormal are in for a treat. The show has been added to WWE star Chris Jericho’s podcast network, under the PodcastOne umbrella, and will feature enlightening and entertaining conversations with world-renowned researchers and experiencers, and challenge listeners' thinking on paranormal mysteries.

December 13 sees the tip-off of University of Kentucky hoops coach John Calipari’s new weekly podcast, Cal Cast. The show will feature a variety of topics and high-profile guests from the world of sports, leadership, business, and entertainment. Calipari’s first guest is fellow Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame inductee Charles Barkley.

The two companies announced on Wednesday that Slacker Radio's audio ad inventory in the U.S and Canada is now part of Triton Digital's a2x programmatic audio advertising exchange. Triton's a2x enables programmatic buying of targeted online and mobile audio ad inventory.

The Barstool Sports website focuses on comedy, sports, and men's lifestyle. The new daily show, hosted by Barstool founder Dave Portnoy, begins January 3. It will air weekdays from 12:00-2:00 p.m. ET/9:00-11:00 a.m. PT on SiriusXM Rush, available nationwide on channel 93.

On Tuesday, Triton Digital announced that entertainment company NOVA in Australia has joined its a2x programmatic audio advertising exchange.

Starting today, former Chicago radio star Mike North begins hosting a new podcast called "Mike North: Sticks and Stones." Chicagoland Radio and Media has the details about the podcast which North will host from his Chicago home studio and will run 30 minutes long.

The two companies announced Wednesday that qualifying vehicle owners who visit any one of the more than 600 Sears Auto Centers can drive away with a complimentary two-month SiriusXM subscription through SiriusXM's Service Lane program. Sears Auto associates are now able to immediately check eligibility when a vehicle is brought in for service and activate a complimentary two-month SiriusXM subscription.

The five-time NBA all-star's new podcast is called Fearless or Insane With Chris Webber. The weekly show will be about sports and athletes, and their impact on culture, politics, and society.

PodcastOne and Southern Cross Austereo have signed a long-term partnership to create PodcastOne Australia. SCA will operate PodcastOne Australia as the exclusive partner in Australia and New Zealand, with select SCA podcasts made available in the U.S. on the PodcastOne platform. PodcastOne Australia will be available early in 2017.

The new Newsfeed feature on NextRadio provides station-centric content, such as trending Tweets from the user’s favorite radio shows. Other content pushed by NextRadio Newsfeed is specific to the user’s favorite formats and includes artist and song facts, the day’s hottest song, and which artists are coming to town with the ability to buy tickets through Vivid Seats.
