iHeartMedia has launched a news podcast called The Daily Dive – a 15-minute podcast that posts each weekday at 6 a.m. ET. The Daily Dive is hosted by iHeartMedia’s Los Angeles-based producer, writer, and editor, Oscar Ramirez.

Triton Digital announced Monday the integration of its programmatic audio advertising marketplace, a2x®, with the leading content-targeted video advertising network, DynAdmic.

iHeartRadio will be the default live music for Amazon's recently unveiled Echo Dot Kids Edition. Family-friendly iHeartRadio Live stations and playlists will be available across the Echo Dot Kids Edition and FreeTime Unlimited on Alexa. All the kids have to do is ask Alexa to launch iHeartRadio, tell her what they want to hear, and start listening.

Earplay and WBUR, Boston’s NPR news station, have co-produced You and the Beanstalk, an interactive audio story for kids ages 6-12. The new Alexa Skill for Kids will be released May 9.

Legendary rock band Fleetwood Mac have announced a North America tour as well as the launch of an exclusive, limited-run SiriusXM channel, The Fleetwood Mac Channel, on Tuesday, May 1.

Stitcher has signed a deal with journalist and best-selling author Stephen J. Dubner to co-produce his popular Freakonomics Radio podcast and bring the show to the Stitcher network this summer.

Freund will be working with East Coast-based Greg Batusic, sharing Chief Operating Officer responsibilities, and is based in the company’s Beverly Hills headquarters. Freund’s resume includes Clip Interactive, Triton Digital, Westwood One/Metro Networks, Chancellor Media, and the Katz Media Group.

The Weather Channel TV Network is launching their first podcast, called Weather Geeks, debuting Tuesday, April 24. The podcast is hosted by Dr. Marshall Shepherd, a professor and former president of the American Meteorological Society.

SiriusXM has extended its agreement with Nissan North America for five more years and through the 2023 model year. Nissan and Infiniti customers will continue to get a three-month introductory SiriusXM All Access subscription – SiriusXM's most expansive programming package.
