Zeb Norris is going home. Point Broadcasting has named him Program Director and morning host at Santa Barbara’s 99.9 KTYD, the frequency where he first worked overnights back in 1976. Norris rejoined KTYD in March as co-host of Morning Mojo.
Before that, Norris had spent the past twenty years in Vermont, most recently programming 101.7 WCVT out of Stowe and Burlington for six years, preceded by fourteen years at WNCS Montpelier. His resume also includes programming and on-air stints at KZAP in Sacramento, KSJO in San Jose, and KRQR in San Francisco, plus WXLE in Albany and KUMT in Salt Lake City.
Norris commented, “It’s been the proverbial long, strange trip, and I couldn’t be happier to return home to KTYD. Over the years, I’ve kept an ear on the station, and Lin left things in great shape, so it’s onward!
