Nearly 6,000 people showed up for a blast from the 60s and 70s, and two Omaha nonprofits came out ahead because of it. Walnut Media’s Boomer Radio wrapped its fifth annual Boomstock festival, helping The Stephen Center and First Responders Foundation.
]Boomer Radio (KIBM-AM/KOBM/KXCB-AM) split $20,793.42 between the two. The Stephen Center helps individuals overcome homelessness, substance abuse, and mental health challenges, while the First Responders Foundation serves and honors police, firefighters, EMS, veterans, and their families.
Walnut Media USA President/CEO Patrick Combs said, “Boomstock brings our staff together as a team to put this on for the community. And we’re delighted that this year was a record-breaker in terms of what we could give back to these very worthy recipients.”
