
Fresh voices from Cumulus, BBR Music Group, and Big Machine are joining Country Radio Broadcasters’ board for the year ahead, rounding out a slate led by returning officers Kurt Johnson, John Shomby, and Matt Sunshine as the organization looks ahead to CRS 2027.
Radio’s representation on the board includes McVay Media’s Mike McVay, Beasley Media Group’s Justin Chase, K-LOVE’s Gator Harrison, Albright & O’Malley & Brenner’s Kenny Jay, Country Aircheck’s Chuck Aly, WFUS/Tampa and WUBL/Atlanta’s Ashley Layfield, KUZZ/Bakersfield’s Brent Michaels, iHeartCountry’s Rod Phillips, Joel Raab Country Radio & Media’s Joel Raab, Audacy’s Tim Roberts, Hubbard Radio’s Greg Strassell, and Cumulus Media’s Allison Warren.
The rest of the roster draws from the labels and streaming, with representatives from companies including Spotify, Apple Music, BMG, Warner Music Nashville, and Big Loud. The complete board list is available on the CRS website.
Charlie Morgan continues in the role of Board Member Emeritus.
CRS 2027 is set for March 17–19 at the Omni Nashville Hotel. One-day-only early bird registration opens September 22, offering a $100 discount off the standard rate; attendees can secure a seat via the Country Radio Seminar website.
