After promoting Jeffery Liberman to co-leader of its operations, Nueva Network is filling out the team around him. The Spanish-language broadcaster announced four new hires spanning digital sales leadership, agency partnerships, and local account roles.

Former Entravision Communications and Univision senior executive Karl Alonso Meyer joins as Executive Vice President of Sales and Strategic Partnerships. Ben Alexander joins as Executive Vice President of Digital Sales, overseeing Nueva Network’s digital sales and multi-platform initiatives. Alexander has led national and local digital sales, programmatic advertising, and multicultural media strategy at companies including Univision, Time Inc./People en Español, and Zeta Global.

Ilsy Bu joins as Account Executive in Washington, D.C., focused on local direct client acquisition and brand partnerships in that market. Bu has previous roles at El Tiempo Latino and Entravision’s Washington, DC Univision affiliate. Diego Roessler joins the Northeast regional team as Account Executive in Boston.

The hiring announcement comes one week after Radio Ink broke the news of Liberman’s promotion to Co-CEO and COO of Nueva Network and its affiliated North Atlantic Media.

Liberman said, “We are thrilled to expand our team with such exceptional talent as we continue to scale our network footprint, our owned and operated radio stations, and digital capabilities. We are building the premier media company focused on serving the fast-growing US Latino market.”

“In addition to expanding our linear network’s reach by adding stations in major markets, we are rapidly scaling our digital footprint. This growth will allow our clients to purchase CTV, digital out-of-home, and social media solutions alongside our existing expertise in streaming audio and podcasts. We are also excited about the recent relaunch of nuevaonda.com and nuevanews.com,” he added.
