After a career spent programming commercial Spanish-language radio, Jose “Super” Martinez is putting his faith at the center of the job. Great Commission Network has chosen the former iHeartLatino programmer General Manager of Miami’s Bless 88.3 (WGNK).
Martinez has worked in multiple US markets and held leadership roles focused on programming, talent development, and Hispanic audiences. Most recently, he served as Programming Director and Strategy for several Spanish-language stations within iHeartLatino, the Hispanic division of iHeartMedia, including Tampa Bay’s Rumba.
At Bless 88.3, he will oversee operations, administration, development, programming, and overall strategy for the Spanish-language Christian station and its digital and social media platforms.
Martinez commented, “For me, this represents a new chapter in my professional life, and I embrace it with great gratitude. Being able to combine so many years of experience in radio with my faith is truly a blessing. I am excited to contribute to the growth of this project and help develop a station centered on God, family, and content that can make a positive impact on our community.”
