Two of radio’s most recognizable voices are stepping behind the podium for Radio Ink and RBR+TVBR‘s Forecast 2027. iHeartMedia personality Angela Yee and Beasley Media Group’s Fred Toucher will emcee this year’s conference, set for November 12 at the Harvard Club of New York City.
Yee is a Radio Hall of Fame host and four-time Gracie Award recipient, best known as the host of Way Up with Angela Yee, syndicated nationally by iHeartMedia’s Premiere Networks out of New York’s Power 105.1 (WWPR). Born and raised in Brooklyn, she began her career in marketing before moving into radio at SiriusXM’s Shade 45 and later co-founding The Breakfast Club. Beyond broadcasting, Yee has built out a portfolio of business ventures, real estate investments, and the Lip Service podcast.
Toucher has spent nearly 20 years in Boston sports radio. He launched his radio career in 1999 as an executive assistant at Atlanta alternative station 99X before working his way into morning hosting. He arrived in Boston in 2006 at WBCN and joined Beasley Media Group’s 98.5 The Sports Hub (WBZ) three years later. His show, Toucher & Hardy, consistently ranks as Boston’s top-rated morning program among men, and he received the Marconi Award for Major Market Personality of the Year in 2016.
