Cumulus Media has named Bill Fox Operations Manager for its Toledo/Monroe cluster. Beyond overseeing the radio cluster’s four audio brands, he’ll also wear different hats as Country WKKO PD and as Classic Hits 93.5 WRQN morning co-host.
Before Cumulus Media, Fox previously served as on-air talent for Classic Country 96.9 WSIG in Harrisonburg, VA, departing the station last September. Before that, the veteran morning personality served as PD for 104.9 WXCL in Wausau, WI, and AC sister station 106.9 WSWT. His other career stops include a Brand Manager and Afternoon Personality role on Wassau Country WDEZ and serving as a Morning Personality on several northeastern stations.
Cumulus Media owns and operates four powerful audio brands across its radio and digital platforms in Toledo/Monroe, including: K100 (WKKO), 98.3 NASH Icon (WMIM), Q105 (WQQO), The Ticket ESPN 100.7 (WQQO HD-2), 93.5 WRQN, 94.5 XKR (WXKR), and 94.5 Glass (WXKR-HD2).
Cumulus Toledo/Monroe VP/Market Manager Dana DiModica said, “We’re beyond excited to have Bill Fox join Cumulus Toledo/Monroe. His passion for building great local radio brands and his unique creative vision make him a perfect fit for our team. Bill will bring fresh energy as Operations Manager for the Toledo cluster, PD for WKKO, and as the new voice waking up Toledo and Northwest Ohio on 93.5 WRQN.”
Fox said, “I’m beyond excited to join Cumulus Toledo/Monroe. This is a veteran air staff that knows how to do live, local radio, and I’m thrilled to get to work alongside them. And I can’t wait for that 4am alarm and the chance to wake up The Glass City!”
