Maryland native Candace Dold will join iHeartMedia Baltimore’s 93.1 WPOC, co-hosting the weekday Michael J & Candace In The Morning, teaming up with 2026 Country Radio Hall of Fame inductee Michael J, replacing Bethany Linderman, who left the show in December.

Dold joins WPOC from WBFF-TV, where she worked as a news reporter and anchor for 14 years. She also previously hosted B’More Lifestyle, a daily FOX45 program highlighting the best of Baltimore’s businesses and happenings.

iHeartMedia Region SVP of Programming Jeff Kapugi said, “We are excited to welcome Candace to mornings on WPOC. Candace came in as a guest fill-in while we conducted our search and it was such a natural fit for her and the show that we realized we already had the perfect duo to help wake up Baltimore every morning. I can’t wait to hear the magic they create.”

Dold commented, “I’m beyond excited to be back in the studio and join Michael J for Baltimore’s morning routine. I was born and raised in Maryland and have always listened to 93.1 WPOC, so I am thrilled about the opportunity to join the family.”
