Educational Media Foundation’s K-LOVE is expanding its national footprint once again, this time into the Yuma-El Centro market. The deal, filed with the FCC following the government shutdown, marks one of the last remaining US regions to gain a K-LOVE presence.
The Contemporary Christian Music network has signed an agreement to purchase Country KTTI 95.1 and Classic Hits KQSR 100.9 from El Dorado Broadcasters for $375,000.
The transaction was signed by K-LOVE CEO Thomas Stulz and CFO Matt Reynolds. Greg Guy of Tideline Partners served as broker for the seller, with Paige Fronabarger of Wilkinson Barker Knauer representing K-LOVE and Scott Woodworth of Edinger Associates handling legal counsel for El Dorado Broadcasters.
Once completed, Yuma will have just one remaining English-language commercial FM station, KLJZ 93.1.
