102.9 KBLX will kick off the FEED THE BAY™ campaign April 30. The campaign benefits select community partners and bay area food banks.
“We are seeing unprecedented need in our community for food assistance to individuals and families,” said Val Maki, SVP/MM for Bonneville Bay Area. “Partnering with bay area food banks, CityTeam and other important organizations on FEED THE BAY is one way we can respond to these urgent needs in the Bay Area and to help uplift our neighbors.”
The 8-hour Food Drive kicks off at 9am Saturday April 30 and is hosted by 102.9 KBLX and bay area food banks with the first $5,000 in donations being matched by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Foundation, on behalf of Bonneville International Corporation.
