Thunder 106 Jersey’s Best Country (WKMK/WTHJ) brought in $184,000 for St. Jude’s. The Press Broadcasting stations have raised nearly $1.2 Million over the past decade.
The money was raised with a radiothon and Program Director Mike Ryan’s 106-mile Jersey Shore Walk. The walk started with A total of 160 walkers joining Ryan on the Spring Lake boardwalk from noon to dusk for the inaugural “Board Walk for St. Jude Kids”.
“St. Jude’s Research Hospital is an amazing place,” said Ryan. “It’s incredible that a family can get care for their child, and it doesn’t cost them a cent. Since the start of the pandemic charitable contributions have seen a dip in income; I just wanted to do something special this year to help the children and their families.”
