The WMGK-FM 20th Annual John DeBella Turkey Drop is set for November 23. Last year the event was able to provide more than 12,000 Turkeys to feed the needy.
“Throughout the pandemic, our commitment to serving the communities of Philadelphia never wavered. We partnered with local charities to host food and blood drives and served as a polling place during elections,” said Matías Tarnopolsky, president and CEO of The Philadelphia Orchestra and the Kimmel Center, Inc. “Now that the Kimmel Cultural Campus has fully reopened, we are excited to bring our communities together again in partnership with WMGK to spread the spirit of giving this holiday season.”
During DeBella’s live broadcast on the 23rd, monetary and turkey donations will be accepted at the Kimmel Center and at 12 Acme Markets across greater Philadelphia.
