Forcht Broadcasting’s WHOP in Hopkinsville, KY auction raised more than $397,000 dollars. The proceeds help the Hopkinsville Rotary Club with a program aiding students going to college.
All proceeds from the auction help qualifying local high school graduates attend Hopkinsville Community College at no cost for two years and will help establish the new Hopkinsville Rotary Foundation. A total of 722 items were sold in the auction, and many cash donations were also made.
WHOP Radio Lite 98.7 and 1230 AM/95.3 FM have been the exclusive radio home of the Hopkinsville Rotary Auction for 71 years.
