Momentum Broadcasting’s two radio stations in Visalia, California generated $203,727 in donations during their two day Radiothon for the St.Jude Children’s Research Hospital. It was a new record in donations for the hospital and besting the station’s previous record by $20,000.
Momentum GM Bill Lynch said he’s incredibly proud of his staff and their commitment to St. Jude. “Despite donations being down across the country due to the Covid-19 pandemic, our staff was able to generate a record for the stations. This is a testament to the power of radio, and the fabulous staff we have working here at KJUG and 99.7 Classic Rock”.
The radio stations received record five figure donations from Kings Mortgage and Groppetti Automotive Family, as well as numerous large donations from local individuals and businesses.
