Atlanta’s WPZE-FM Praise 102.5 has picked up another Stellar Award. This is the fifth Stellar Award for a Major Market Gospel Station.
The Stellar Awards honor Gospel music artists, writers and industry professionals for their contributions to the industry. The Stellar Awards’ on-line fan voting campaign allows listeners to vote for their favorite station.
“Providing inspiration especially during a pandemic and social unrest is fulfilling in itself but winning five times as the best major market station in the country, is icing on the cake,” said Tim Davies, Regional VP/GM.
Launched in October 2001, the Urban One station is the only station in the country to win the award five times. The award was presented during a virtual 35th Annual Stellar Award Celebration.
