Orv Graham is best known for his time at WSOY-AM, where he was on the air until 1983 before moving on to become Sales Manager and General Manager.
Graham left radio in 1993 and joined the Insurance & Financial Services business before returning to the radio again in 2009. Graham hosted “Sunday Morning Easy with Orv Graham on WEZC-FM
Off the air, he was active in the community. He was a founding father of the Decatur Celebration, serving as the first President and General Chairman, was a Past President of Partners in Education, Past President of the United Way, served on many local Boards of Directors, and was a member of the Board of the Illinois Broadcaster’s Association and the Board of the United Way of Illinois.
Graham was 82.
