Meruelo Media’s KLOS-FM in Los Angeles and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital have announced that their two-day St. Jude Rocks Radiothon raised $1,028,526 in 26 hours, a new record for the station.
KLOS-FM Program Director Keith Cunningham said, “We crushed fundraising records for Rock formats in America for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Along with all the KLOS talent, led by Frosty, Heidi and Frank, Marci Wiser, Gary Moore and Greg Beharrell, our Meruelo Media sister stations and their talent joined us, so we could all lock arms and bring the entire Southern California community together to support kids with childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. It was great having Power 106’s Nick Cannon, Cali 93.9’s Angelica Vale, and KDAY’s Cece and Romeo help us raise more than $1 million.”
