Mix 106.5 (WWMX-FM) in Baltimore held its 31st annual radiothon for Johns Hopkins Children’s Center recently. The results were outstanding. $1.4 million was raised for the center, which is a member of the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals in Baltimore.

We are excited that our radiothon grows year after year to support the vital, life-saving mission of Johns Hopkins Children’s Center. “Children who are coping with difficult illnesses often do not feel like normal children,” said Tina Cheng, M.D., M.P.H., Co-Director and Pediatrician-in-Chief, Johns Hopkins Children’s Center. “Pediatric patients are going through lifesaving surgeries, chemotherapy, testing, and much more. This funding will help our providers and staff provide world-renowned pediatric care and also help our pediatric patients feel like children at a time and in a place where it is anything but normal.”
