NRG’s KFGE-FM (Froggy 98) in Lincoln hosted its 17th annual St. Jude Country Cares Radiothon Feb. 5th and 6th. A record $93,361 was raised by the radio station and its volunteer helpers
During the two-day event University of Nebraska-Lincoln students from Tri Delta sorority answered calls from listeners making donations. Most of the funds raised were in the form of “Partner In Hope” donations, which is a pledge from the caller to donate $20 monthly for one year to the hospital.
