For September, October and November of 2019 Jeff Smulyan’s company brought in $10.7 million in revenue, down from $10.8 for the same three months in 2018. Emmis no longer holds quarterly conference calls to discuss its earnings. The company has sold off many of its stations in recent years and has been looking to invest in businesses outside broadcasting.
