Days after President Trump leaked word at a rally, iHeartMedia announced it has renewed its agreement with the President’s close friend, Rush Limbaugh. While iHeart did not announce the terms of the deal, the President said it was for four more years. Limbaugh recently celebrated his 31st year on the radio.

In the release, Limbaugh said growing up, dreaming of and pondering success, he never actually envisioned it to the degree he’s experienced it. “And it would not have happened without a huge audience of Americans, people who make the country work; hundreds of great radio stations who took a great risk 31 years ago; and the wonderful people at iHeartMedia, who know radio almost as well as I do. Now, four more years! There is nothing I would rather do!”

“There’s no one quite like Rush,” said Rich Bressler, President, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of iHeartMedia. “His ability to entertain, engage, and inform millions of listeners, along with his unwavering commitment to radio, has set a standard for broadcast excellence for more than 30 years. We couldn’t be happier to extend our partnership and look forward to many years of continued growth and success.”
