The Morning Team of Fred Caruso and Amy Bates from WFTN-FM in Concord/Lakes Region, NH broadcast live from 25 central New Hampshire businesses December 6-13. The duo accepted cash and non-perishable food from listeners, benefiting ten local organizations. Over 20,000 food items and $43,000 in cash was donated.
Caruso who started the fundraiser back in 1987 said, “The most important part of our annual Cash & Cans campaign is that one-hundred percent of what we raise stays local, benefiting our friends and neighbors who may need a helping hand, especially during the holidays.”
