KZRG Charity Project Brings In $38,000

Six-hundred kids in foster care in southwest Missouri will have a merrier Christmas thanks to the generosity of KZRG/Joplin, MO, listeners. Event organizer Sarah Burch says $38,000 was raised for Christmas for Hope. More than 125 volunteers turned out to shop for the kids at the 15th Street Walmart in Joplin on Thursday morning. One family told KZRG that volunteering for the shopping event has become a fun, family tradition that they look forward to every year.
