Kicking off in mid-November and culminating on December 4, Cox Media Group Atlanta’s radio stations partnered with the Atlanta Community Food Bank to collect food to supply holiday meals for local families in need.
WALR, WSBB-FM, WSB-FM, and WSRV collected a grand total of 13,121 pounds of food, and raised monetary donations to benefit the Atlanta Community Food Bank throughout the holiday season.
“Helping the communities we serve is one of the things that radio does best,” said Chris Eagan, Senior Director of Operations. “We are proud to partner with the Atlanta Community Food Bank and do tremendous work for needy families in the Atlanta area.”
