Calton Retires From WMGK

After 26 years as WMGK-FM Philadelphia midday personality, Debbi Calton put on her headphones for the very last time Friday, December 6th. Calton had been on the air in Philly for 36 years.

Calton spent 10 years at former Philly rock station WYSP-FM, before moving to WMGK-FM in 1993.

Her final show included farewell messages from listeners and special guests, including members of George Thorogood’s band (the Destroyers), her husband (Chip) and son (Dustin), the Phillie Phanatic, former WMGK morning host Harvey, along with other lifelong friends and colleagues
