Nationally syndicated radio personality Don Cheto of La Que Buena 105.5/94.3 FM was honored by Los Angeles City officials with a City Proclamation of “Don Cheto Day” for his work in support of the Latino immigrant community.

City Councilman Jose Huizar presented Don Cheto with a Proclamation declaring December 4 as “Don Cheto Day” at the Los Angeles City Council’s Chamber and celebrated his contributions to the city’s Latino immigrant population and his work in providing education and resources via his morning radio show, which this year celebrates 20 years of uninterrupted success.

“I am honored to receive this recognition from the City of Los Angeles, a city that my family and I call home and where I have been fortunate enough to do what I love. For me, it’s an honor to be the voice of our hard working Latino community and also represent our cultural heritage and pride,” stated Don Cheto.
