NASH-FM 105.5 Country radio host Skip Davis has died. The Fort Walton Beach station announced his passing on its Facebook page. He passed away December 3 after a battle with cancer.

“With hearts full of sadness, the NASH family announces we have lost a son. Skip Davis passed away in his sleep this morning. He moved on in peace and without any distress.”

Davis, the mid-afternoon host on NASH FM 105.5, was diagnosed with metastatic renal cell cancer earlier this year. His nearly 40-year career on the air was spent along the Florida Gulf Coast. With the Cumulus Radio Group since 1999, Davis also served as Program Director and Production Director.
