First Natchez was started back in 1958 with the purchase of WNAT-AM by Marie and Sammy Perkins. An FM was added in 1967. Today, the company run by Margaret Perkins, owns five FM’s stations covering Southwest Mississippi and East/Central Louisiana and has changed its name to Listen Up Y’all Media
Perkins said, “With 60 years in business, we are excited to continue growing and evolving with the times. We have always prided ourselves on our involvement with the Greater Miss-Lou community, delivering the highest quality entertainment, news, sports, emergency information, and helping hundreds of non-profits raise awareness and money for their organizations.”
