Big Night For Charity In Boston

0

On Tuesday night, WZLX/Boston’s Karlson, McKenzie & Heather hosted their annual “Turkey Meat & Greet” at the Springdale Barrell Room in Framingham, MA, just outside the city. The evening benefits The Pearl Street Cupboard & Café, which is run by The United Way. In exchange for a donation of a non-perishable food item, listeners were able to enjoy a Thanksgiving meal with all of the fixings. Guitar virtuoso Gary Hoey provided the entertainment and attendees were able to bid on silent auction items including autographed memorabilia from The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Alice Cooper, Paul Rodgers, Warren Haynes, and others. WZLX listeners donated over 1,200 pounds of food and over $2,000 to the United Way and the Pearl Street Cupboard and Café.
