Steve Warren (pictured), host of The Country Oldies Show, will celebrate being the longest-running classic country show on-air with a 3-hour Thanksgiving Anniversary Special. In appreciation, the special is being offered free to country stations who want to broadcast it on “Turkey Day” or over the holiday weekend.

The special will feature interviews, and music by Steve Wariner, Mickey Gilley, Crystal Gayle, Larry Gatlin, Janie Fricke, and Richard Sterban (of the Oak Ridge Boys). Country Music documentary filmmaker Ken Burns will also put in an appearance.

“I know of no better time of the year to reflect on history, family, and the freedoms we all enjoy than our uniquely American Thanksgiving holiday,” said Steve Warren. “For this reason, we picked Thanksgiving weekend as the perfect opportunity to express our gratitude to all our devoted listeners for their 25 years of support and loyalty by inviting them to celebrate with us on our 3-hour anniversary radio special.”
