Barbara Davitt, host of Coffee Break on WATR-1320 AM started her broadcast career on the day JFK was assassinated. She started as a “weather girl” and now hosts a Monday-Thursday half-hour, mid-morning program.
Davitt is a well-known radio and theater personality and keeps the Greater Waterbury area updated on the arts and other community information. While not on the air Friday November 22, she is set to talk about her anniversary, on the air, the Friday after Thanksgiving.
I remember my mother listening to her when I was just a little boy growing up in Connecticut.
