Pacifica Network and Public News Service have teamed up to offer 2020TALKS, a daily 3-minute newscast covering the road to the 2020 Presidential elections, starting in Iowa.
2020TALKS gives a fresh take on the presidential contenders of all parties as they court voters. The segment features one-on-one interviews with candidates as they campaign and reports from rallies, forums, and town hall meetings, and more.
Production of 2020TALKS is headquartered in Ames, Iowa, at KHOI Community Radio, outside of Des Moines.
“The newscast has a fresh sound and integrates easily into radio stations’ schedules and gives enough for audiences to stay engaged and informed, but not overwhelmed,” said Lark Corbeil, Public News Service Director.
2020TALKS is available at midnight EST Sunday through Thursday. It’s distributed by Pacifica Network to Pacifica affiliates at Audioport.org and Public News Service. Non-subscribers can sign up at NewsService.org.
