Community Broadcasters radio stations WBDR and WOTT’s Children’s Miracle Network Radiothon to benefit Watertown, NY’s Samaritan Medical Center, raised $140,000 in three days. Johnny Spezzano, WBDR PD, and Lance Hale, WOTT PD, broadcast stories of children and families helped by CMN and asked for donations from the audience in the North Country of New York State.

Kristin LaClair, Children’s Miracle Network Development Manager for Samaritan Hospital said, “It is amazing that Community Broadcasters continues to hit Radiothon out of the park year after year. It is hard to grasp how far $140,000 will go to help children and their families.”

The Watertown Community Broadcasters Children’s Miracle Network Radiothon aired November 6 through November 8. Over 19 years the stations have raised more than $2 million for CMN.
