Tulsa’s 103.3 The Eagle (KJSR-FM) is holding a 12-hour fundraiser on Friday, November 1 to help the Oklahoma Chapter of the Disabled American Veterans recruit volunteers. In addition to cash donations, this year the DAV is hoping to collect volunteer commitments for their “Drive a Hero” campaign to help transport military veterans to medical appointments.

“The Eagle team is so grateful for the sacrifices military veterans have made and we are privileged to have the opportunity to partner with an outstanding organization like the Oklahoma DAV to help make sure that our community supports them on their road to recovery,” says KJSR Director of Branding and Programming Kim Dallow. “Our listeners play a critical role in helping fund the DAV’s mission to get our disabled veterans the benefits and services that they have earned.”

103.3 The Eagle will once again be joined in their efforts by sister station K95.5 (KWEN-FM) during the radiothon. K95.5 will air their version of the radiothon from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Friday, November 1.
