CMG Preisdent Kim Guthrie has received Iowa State University Greenlee School of Journalism and Communication’s James W. Schwartz Award for Distinguished Service to Journalism and Communication Award. The award is given to alumni, and friends of the Greenlee School of Journalism for outstanding service to the fields of journalism and communications.

As president of Cox Media Group (CMG) Guthrie oversees all content, sales and operations for 14 broadcast television stations, more than 60 radio stations and two daily newspapers.
