KCMP/Twin Cities (89.3 FM, 89.3) The Current has named Kelsey Brannan as its new APD. Brannan previously worked at the Minnesota Public Radio station as Music Assistant from 2014 to 2016. She returns to the station after two years at Seattle’s KEXP.
“We are incredibly excited to have Kelsey back with us at The Current,” said David Safar, Managing Director of The Current. “She has a deep understanding of our station’s goals and the radio know-how to help our day-to-day operations thrive.”
Brannan got her start in radio in her two terms as PD of WSUM, University of Wisconsin-Madison’s student station.
