The Board of Directors of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting has named Kimberly Howell as CPB’s Inspector General, replacing Mary Mitchelson who retired in April.

“I am pleased to have Kimberly Howell take on this important position to ensure that CPB is accountable to the taxpayers that we serve by working to prevent fraud, waste, and abuse,” said CPB Board Chair Bruce Ramer. “She is an experienced federal executive with extensive leadership experience in investigations, program oversight, compliance and quality assurance.”

Howell has been the Deputy Inspector General for Investigations at the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority since March 2018 and currently serves as a commissioner on the Commission on Judicial Disabilities for the State of Maryland. Prior to that, she directed the office of investigations for the Nuclear Regulatory Commission and served as special agent and Deputy Assistant Inspector General for the Office of Personnel Management. She began her federal law enforcement career as a special agent with the Secret Service in 1993.

  1. Congratulations Bruce, you must be ecstatic that despite being a racist you have accomplished so much. Imagine if you lobbied on behalf of Germany against US recognition of the Holocaust. You wouldn’t have a pot to piss in from employment in Hollywood. But, like a good Zionist, you followed in the vein of Theodor Herzl lobbying on behalf of the likes of Israel, Turkey and Azerbaijan against U.S. recognition of the Armenian Genocide and against other Armenian interests. Bravo! Well played, Zionist trash! Isn’t it funny that you spent a large portion of your life lobbying against US recognition of the Armenian genocide and you hold positions at the Shoah Foundation and the Board of Trustees for USC in the largest community of Armenians in the United States. You must fancy your self as being pretty smart. But, you are meshuggunah. Lots of chutzpah but no sechel. Your legacy will be that your succeeded as a racist and no one in the legal community or the entertainment community called you on it. I guess its bettter than being a perpetrator of sexual harassment? Right? Racist pig!!!
