FCC Chairman Ajit Pai and FCC Special Counsel Preston Wise were in Brookings, SD, on Tuesday, September 17 and made a stop at Brookings Radio to meet the staff and take a tour. Pai was in Brookings to see the new Precision Ag Center at South State University and to visit with students about that new, high-tech program.
“We were honored to welcome Chairman Pai and Special Counsel Wise to Alpha’s cluster of radio stations in Brookings, South Dakota,” said General Manager Cami Powers. “It is really a tribute to his hands-on leadership that he would take the time to visit a small-market group like Alpha Brookings where the broadcast efforts are so integral to the communities we serve.”
