After a near-death drug overdose, Mallory decided to check into a drug rehab program, but she needed a temporary home for her beloved dog Rebel. Mallory reached out to Johnjay in hopes of finding a temporary home for Rebel through the #LovePup Foundation, but the national radio host and his wife surprised her by taking the dog into their home.
After welcoming Mallory on The Johnjay & Rich Show to share her inspiring story, the hosts discovered Mallory was also having trouble being admitted to an affordable rehab facility immediately. Many of the show’s listeners called in to offer their help, and Mallory was invited to the Soul Surgery Addiction & Mental Health Center in Scottsdale, AZ, for free.
