Cox Tulsa stations K95.5, Mix 96.5, and FOX23 helped St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital raise a record-breaking $200K for its annual St. Jude 5K Walk/Run. Last Saturday’s walk saw an $85K jump in fundraising from 2018. This is the final event of the year for CMG and St. Jude, a partnership which has raised more than $1.4 million in 2019 alone.
K95.5’s morning team Cash & Bradley partnered with FOX23’s morning anchor Michelle Linn to emcee the walk at ONEOK Field.
“We are passionate about the mission of St. Jude and are always looking for new ways to get people involved and fundraising to help advance cures for childhood cancer,” said KWEN Director of Programming and Branding Matt Bradley. “Now we are looking forward to celebrating the walk’s success at this week’s private Jimmie Allen concert with all of the walk’s top fundraisers.”
The Cox Tulsa cluster raised $1.1 million during the Dream Home Giveaway and K95.5 and 103.3 The Eagle raised more than $185,000 during the St. Jude Radiothon.
