April Carty-Sipp, NAB SVP of Television and Radio, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Library of American Broadcasting. Carty-Sipp joined NAB in March 2018 after more than 20 years in senior management at broadcast operations. Before joining NAB, she was she was most recently VP/Director of Programming at Disney ABC-owned WPVI-TV Philadelphia.
The Library of American Broadcasting is dedicated to the preservation and access of broadcasting’s history. Partnering with the University of Maryland Libraries, the LAB is the nation’s most extensive collection of broadcast history, policy, and tradition, including historic documents, professional papers, oral and video histories, books, scripts, and photographs.
